The Rules

General Rules;;
1. Swearing is allowed, but only in limited amounts. Accepted language is hell, damn, and bastard/pregnant dog. (Note: Bastard and pregnant dog are often dog terms.)
2. Be kind to all members of the site, and please be especially respectful of site staff.
3. Make sure to have fun! =3

Breeding Rules;;
1. You can roleplay the breeding or just don't do it and say you did.
2. Please don't get into detail if you act it out. It might freak some people out. (Like me, for example. xP)
3. Force-breeding is allowed if both players agree to it.
4. You can't create your puppies, your puppies will be delivered to you at the Little Cave when you post.

Terratory Claimance Rules;;
1. Only male dogs, over the age of two can claim un-claimed terratory as their packland. (Note: This is usually how it is with dogs, anyways.)
2. (Look at 'Terratory Alpha's Guide' at the end of this list of rules.
3. Any dog over the age of two can challenge a pack leader for his terratory.
4. As always, your fight will be judged fairly by a staff member(If needed, two staff members.)

Fighting Rules;;
1. No godmodding.

What is godmodding?
Godmodding is when you make your character literally invinceable.
How to fix this problem?
If another character says he bit you, then let the bite be there. It isn't fair to let the effort that someone put in that post be put to waste. It's cheating.
An Example of Godmodding:
Joe bit down into Tom's neck.

Tom got away before Tom could get him, he climbed up a tree, and then flung himself on top of Joe.
(Btw, since dogs really can't climb trees, climbing trees is considered godmodding as well. Tom godmodded two times in his post, and because of that, he may get a warning.)

Good Example:
Joe bit down into Tom's neck.

Tom growled as Joe bit down into his neck, but he began shaking his neck, trying to free himself of Joe's jowls.

2. No powerplaying.
What is powerplaying?
When you finish your attack, without letting your oppoenent have their reaction to the attack.
How to fix this problem?
Let your opponent have time to react. You'll see what we mean next.
Example of Powerplaying:
Joe came near Tom.

Tom lunged forward and bit Joe in the throat, hurting him really badly. He then pressed a lot harder, letting blood enter his mouth. Soon, Joe was dead.
(Without Joe's roleplayers O.K; Tom went on, hurt his character and then killed it. Unless it is worked out by both roleplayers, you can't kill another roleplayer's dog without permission. And, if their dog gets hurt from an attack.. Well, that's up to the dog's rper.)

Good Example:
Joe came near Tom.

Tom lunged forward to bite Tom in the throat. He was so on target, it would be easy to not miss his target.

Joe struggled under the pressure as Tom was able to get him in the throat like he had planned.

3. The fight will be judged by a staff member. At maximum you may each have four posts.
-You
-Other rper
-You
-Other rper
-You
-other rper
-You
-other rper... Or something along that line. Less posts per person gets you along faster. ;)

The fight will be judged upon your amount of experience posts, how long your post was, how in-detail your post was, and how great your fighting moves were.

Once your fight it over, contact a staff member to judge it. If you don't want to judge by experience points, it's O.K. Just make sure you tell the judge that.

Puppy Rules;;
1. Pups will have the rank, "pup" until they are one year old(four weeks in our time). Once born, they will have to wait until the next Spring to actually have a rank in a pack.
2. Dogs must be at least two years old to have pups and rule over territory.

//.Territory Alpha's Guide:

You should do these things upon receiving your territory:

-Name it as soon as you get it. In your claimance post/territory acceptance, you will name your new pack, or keep have the same name as the old pack(You can only keep the name of the old pack if there was a pack there before you.)

-Create your list of pack rules. If you want, you can ammend the rules of the pack before you(If there was a pack before you.)

-Begin your list of ranks, and add new members.

-Greet every new loner that enters your pack and choose whether to deny/accept them based on your pack rules.

-Battle other dogs who want to steal your territory for their own.

-Try to keep peace with other packs, but if you can't, you might have to gather your pack members together to go to war.

-Head your whole pack under your paws.

-Potentially start a family so that perhaps your pups could one day take over the pack.
